Olga Kosanović

Olga Kosanović, born April 1, 1995 in Austria is a director, screen writer and teacher. She finished her education at the HFBK Hamburg with Angela Schanelec. Her movies ran on various international movie festivals, 2021 her movie “Genosse Tito, ich erbe” was awarded the 3Sat-Young Talent Award and the Austrian Film Award 2022, and was nominated the German short film award LOLA.

Other awards include:

2023 for “Land der Berge” Award for best young talent at the Diagonale

2024 Award for best mid-length movie as well as the audience award at the film festival; the Max Ophüls Preis and the Shorts Plus Award at the Fünf Seen Film Festival.

Besides her work as freelance director and screen writer she teaches at the Graphic University and the Hertha Firnberg School in Vienna.
