27.09.2024, Ramsau am Dachstein, Steiermark, Österreich (Austria): Dachstein-Dialoge 2024, Eröffnungsrede von Michael Köhlmeier in der evangelischen Kirche zum Thema Toleranz als historische Herausforderung - die Dachstein-Dialoge in Filzmoos und Ramsau sind ein neues internationales Festival für Toleranz und finden vom 27. bis zum 29. September 2024 unter dem Motto Zerrissene Jahre statt. For a century, the Trachtenmusikapelle Ramsau am Dachstein has shaped the musical and cultural life of its homeland. Led by chairman Andreas Engelhardt and bandmaster Ronny Dornig, the music band is a vibrant and versatile community distinguished by its commitment, its passion for music, and its connection to the region.
Based on oral tradition, it can be confidently assumed that the origin of today’s Trachtenmusikkapelle Filzmoos goes back to around 1865. The ensemble of this unique band is known worldwide, and its journeys and performances span from Moscow to North America. The wind orchestra currently comprises 64 active musicians and is led by bandmaster Magdalena Hofer-Rettenwender and chairman Georg Rettenwender.
