“HUMAN” is a timeless documentary film by French photographer and director Yann Arthus-Bertrand. The film consists primarily of interview sequences with over 2,000 people from more than 60 countries and spectacular aerial and landscape shots from all over the world.

The focus is on very personal and emotional stories that deal with universal themes such as love, loss, war, poverty, work, discrimination, but also happiness and hope. The protagonists talk about their lives, their struggles, and their joys – directly, authentically, and emotionally moving.

The film invites the audience to engage with existential questions: What makes us human? What connects us – across all cultural and geographical boundaries? ‘HUMAN’ explores the “human condition” and paints a very devoted and, at the same time, thought-provoking portrait of humanity.
