The Dachstein Dialoge is an international festival for tolerance, held in Filzmoos and Ramsau am Dachstein. From September 19 to 25, 2025, the festival returns for its second edition, focusing on the theme: “Who belongs to us?”

Through lectures, discussions, and cultural performances, the festival creates spaces for dialogue and ideas that promote respectful coexistence, strengthen democracy, and foster tolerance across borders.

Who belongs to us?

This question is at the heart of the 2025 festival. In a world increasingly marked by polarization, the Dachstein Dialoge focus on themes of belonging and exclusion.
How can we bridge the growing divides in our societies? Where do new connections and common ground emerge?
With around 20 events, the festival provides space for dialogue, fresh perspectives, and a spirit of solidarity.

The Dachstein Dialoge shape the present by learning from the past and looking to the future. Through encounters, intellectual impulses, and cultural experiences, they transform painful historical memories into a shared, open coexistence, creating the foundation for lived tolerance and democracy. From the border mountain, the Dachstein becomes both a focal point and a symbol of connection.
